As I step into another era of my life, I’m grateful for the truths I’ve uncovered, and for the continuous curation of the Now-Me. But let’s be honest: living in a state of constant learning can be exhausting. At some point, learning stops being liberation and starts being a crutch.
I’ve found myself stuck in that loop before, the constant learner, the forever student of life. Don’t get me wrong, learning is great, but it can also become a trap. You get so used to absorbing, reflecting, and dissecting that action quietly slips into the passenger seat. The mind starts driving everything, and suddenly you’ve become more scholar than doer in your own story.
